Alki,
There used to be a "Forum" button on Battlecam that linked here. It was removed when the Filmon AV players were removed from the BC main. Will that convenient "forum" button ever be brought back to BC? . Now new people won't even know of these forums unless they're told and they do a web search.

What's this "select" if you plan on entering? Looks like you need to pre-register???

Do you realize how many people from JTV would open a channel on BC IF they knew they could possibly win $1,000! I know you're on that Greek time right now but you need to broadcast and promote this on JTV. This would literally get you more of a response for the money you are spending. You and Jen have both shown you can pull in 1,000 viewers on JTV. Get the viewers on there, announce this contest to the masses, and let them flood over to BC!! Most people on JTV don't even know about the contests here on Battlecam. Lets get this site rockin'!

This is off subject but glad to see the forum button coming back to Battlecam. But currently I have text instead of a button as you can see in the screenshot. I'm using FireFox version 3.5.10 w/Adobe Flash version 10.0. I'm sure someone will be quick to say upgrade since I'm one step behind from the latest versions. I guess my point is that most people don't keep on top of making sure they have the latest and greatest versions of their browsers and flash. With this in mind I'm sure I'm not the only one seeing text instead of actual buttons to click.

Its the mods who dont cam and fans that DONT cam that have to promote it. Broadcasters who wanna win arent gonna tell other people about it obviously. Doing a couple broadcasts on JTV like someone said above, would be a good start. Tweeting with popular tags would help as well #ustream #jtv #tinychat #blogtv etc. Another idea of how to get the word out. Again it would be up to Alki and mods to promote it cuz a broadcaster(popular battelcam'ers) ain't gonna tell anyone about it for obvious reasons. Gettin Jen on dat Greek Bikini Time and puttin the links up should do the trick on JTV.

Alki,

Please look at this post in the other thread....

FilmOn Forum > BattleCam Forums > Support & Bug Report > Battlecam page layout

Or if link is clickable.... http://forum.filmon....am-page-layout/

Chat box is too low in the default IE and FireFox view. Put all those tabs under the chat box rather than above it. Many of us do not have the chat box and poop counter in view at the same time. Not only is it inconvenient it discourages voting when it's "out of view out of mind"!

Alki,

Your thoughts on the post above this one? ^^^^^^

It would make the layout more user friendly and be an improvement to the site. Before I came in here a MOD was pointing out in chat that only 20 people out of 124 had voted. That's because the poop counter is not in view for a lot of us and we forget to scroll up. This layout change would help to bring it in view. See screen shots in the other thread!

I've rarely seen this contest brought up in Battlecam chat in the past several days. It also stands to reason that very few people outside of Battlecam even know about this contest or we would have seen new people setting up their channels by now.
